How to Check Amazon Sales Data

Sales numbers can change daily, so you need to check each product’s sales history in order to get the whole picture. By using the most up-to-date and accurate sales trackers, checkers, and apps, you’ll gain an edge over your competition.To do this, follow the steps below:

Product

  • Evaluate sales and demand by checking sales numbers for an entire niche and individual products

  • Check if the niche has seasonal fluctuations by clicking Niche History at the top of your screen

  • Check if product sales are stable or growing. Select a product you would like to research. Click the arrow to the left of the product, and then click “Product History”.


Evaluate if it’s a Good Product to Sell

  • Estimate any product’s profitability by using the Profit Calculator tool. Pay close attention to margins, fees and cost estimates.

  • Evaluate the competition. Check the number of reviews, number and quality of competitors, and quality of listings in the niche. If there are many other strong sellers in the niche, it will be more difficult to increase your product ranking.

  • Check product and niche scores to get an overall evaluation for any niche or product
